چکیده

The Green’s function (GF) directly eases the efficient computation for acoustic radiation problems in shallow water with use of Helmholtz integral equation. difficulty solving GF lies need to consider boundary effects. In this paper, a rigorous theoretical model interactions between spherical wave and liquid is established by Fourier transform. accurate adaptive Pekeris waveguide lossy seabed derived, which based on image source method (ISM) acoustics. First, decomposed into plane waves different incident angles. Second, each multiplied corresponding reflection coefficient obtain reflected sound field, field superposed wave. Then, all sources physical are summed waveguide. results computed compared standard wavenumber integration method, verifies accuracy near- far-field problems. influence attenuation modal interference patterns analyzed.

Theory of sound propagation from a moving source in a three-layer Pekeris waveguide

A theory is developed for the acoustic field in a three-layer waveguide, representing the atmosphere, shallow ocean and sediment. The unaccelerated source is moving horizontally in the atmosphere. Two solutions are presented. The first, for a line source normal to the direction of travel, is a single wavenumber integral yielding the two-dimensional 2-D field in each layer; and the second, for a...

On the acoustic field in a Pekeris waveguide with attenuation in the bottom half-space.

The acoustic field in a Pekeris channel with an attenuating basement is critically examined, based on contour integrations of the wave number integrals for the two domains. In both regions, the field consists of a finite sum of proper (square integrable) normal modes plus a branch line integral around a hyperbolic cut. For low bottom attenuation, only "trapped" modes exist but as the loss incre...

A Method for Solving Optimal Control Problems Using Genetic Programming

This paper deals with a novel method for solving optimal control problems based on genetic programming. This approach produces some trial solutions and seeks the best of them. If the solution cannot be expressed in a closed analytical form then our method produces an approximation with a controlled level of accuracy. Using numerical examples, we will demonstrate how to use the results.

passivity in waiting for godot and endgame: a psychoanalytic reading

this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...

Pekeris waveguide comparisons of methods for predicting acoustic field amplitude uncertainty caused by a spatially uniform environmental uncertainty (L).

Acoustic field calculations in underwater environments are often uncertain because the environmental parameters required for such calculations are uncertain. This letter compares the accuracy of direct simulations, the field shifting approximation, and polynomial chaos expansions for predicting acoustic amplitude uncertainty in 100-m-deep Pekeris waveguides having spatially uniform uncertain wa...
